We have been traveling throughout Mexico for the last 6 months and I can honestly say that the team at Romance City Hotel is the best! Yani, Vhon, Jesus and Claudia make you feel right at home; like family. They all go ABOVE and beyond of what is expected. We have been at the hotel for 6 days and everyone Jesus, Claudia, Yani and Vhon continues to exceed our expectations; everyday they are cheerful, warm and welcoming. It really feels natural. The customer service is EXCEPTIONAL we even extended our stay another 5 days because of how much we are enjoying our stay at Romance. The room/hotel is sleek, modern and minimalist. Has everything we need as a family of 5. The rooms are clean and quiet. The blackout shades are wonderful! Also a great suprise, was the awesome roof top area! We had dinner there in the evenings and the views of the local mountains/buildings is lovely. The breakfast is included in the fee, and is SO DELICIOUS! Fresh fruit with yogurt and granola. Also, Omelet, with refried beans and chilaquiles, and choice of coffee or tea. The complimentary coffee and chocolate in our room is a sweet touch. We are now obsessed with the chocolate. Also, fresh water is supplied everyday. The café is cute and cozy! Great variety of coffees and hot chocolates are available at a very affordable price and are freshly made. Internet is quick and reliable. The area in which the hotel is located isvery convenient. There are many markets, stores and of course historical landmarks nearby; all within walking distance. The area is very safe; we walked everywhere and at all times of day/night and felt very safe! We look forward to staying at Romance again and will highly recommend to all of our family and friends. Nice hotel near Romance st! Friendly staff, room is clean, my room is on the floor so I can hear the guest chit chat at the breakfast, when I get in to my room found out there is no ac unit, I was worry about but tbh it’s pretty chill at night.
Great little gem of a hotel near the Historic District but on a side street which made it quiet. Beautiful rooftop patio to relax. Rooms were tiny. Bathrooms ridiculously tiny. All very clean. Good wifi. Fantastic breakfast included made by Blanca. “Danifer” in reception was excellent, she brought extra towels upon request, filled our water bottle before we set out for the day and even though she understood english perfectly, she patiently allowed us to practice our Spanish. Would recommend this hotel. The staff are what make it great!
Hotel is clear and very modern. Located near historic center with walking distance to most things. Jesus was great at check-in and Brenda and Claudia were excellent and attentive at check-out and breakfast. Look forward to coming back soon.
Great location & cheap accommodation! The only downside was that the walls were thin and I could hear a lot of street noise and noise from other guests during the night. They had a cafe nice area for me to work remotely and the staff was very nice & helpful!

Not a bad hotel... Parking to unload your baggage could be a problem. Reception was good. My room was small with no Air conditioning... Bathroom was very small. A bit of a distance from centro. Good hotel for 1 or 2 nights....
